See you in nature

Bear safaris

?A huge, hungry male bear appeared and let us take photos of him...

Guided adventure bear safaris in mid April-August the 17th.

You can look at and take photos of bears and the lives of other wild animals from a log hut.

Group size 1-25people.

Handicap-accessible.

Bear safaris have been organized since 1999.  About 3 km away from the farm we have built six huts for bear watching and photography.  The huts are constructed of round logs.  There you can safely wait for the appearance of the bears.  There is room for a total of 25 people in the huts.  You can safely become a nature photographer and capture the bears with your own camera.

In the lives of the bears there are a number of events during the summer that give followers new experiences.  In the spring sometime in the end of April - beginning of May, the bears wake up from their winter sleep and start searching for food,  getting stronger, and looking for a mate.  The mating season is in early June and during the end of the summer the bears start fattening up for the winter.  Not to forget the happy playing cubs from the previous summer.  At best, as many as 13 different bears have been seen in the area, as well as eagles that have made their nests in the area.

Bear watching and photography starts about the mid April and continues until 17.8.  In early spring we leave to the huts around 4 PM, and from July already from 3 PM.
